Ficus Elastica ‘Burgundy’ – Rubber Tree
Ficus Elastica ‘Burgundy’ is native to South Asia and a member of the fig genus. It has leaves that emerge crimson and then fade to a shade of green so deep that they almost appear black. Its milky sap was originally used to make latex, which is why this plant is often called the “Rubber Tree.” Its dramatic, glossy foliage makes the ‘Burgundy’ cultivar a favorite indoor tree for modern, minimalist interiors.
The plant featured in the listing photos is in a 6-inch pot.
